This process, known as the Comprehensive Plan, serves as a long-term “road map” that guides growth, development, and policy decisions for the next 20 years, ensuring LaFayette remains a vibrant, inclusive, and sustainable place to live, work, and visit.

About Us
The City of LaFayette Alabama is undertaking this planning process. The City's Planning Commission is the lead organization, and will send the final draft of the plan to the Mayor and City Council. The City is being assisted by a team from the East Alabama Regional Planning and Development Commission, which serves local governments across East Alabama.
